Job Description:
Everest National Insurance Company, a member of the Everest Re Group, is seeking a Casualty Underwriter for our Energy operation in the Warren, NJ or Houston, TX offices.
Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities for the position include new and renewal business production underwriting of Energy and Energy related accounts with focus on revenues of $25M and above with minimum account premium $250,000. Adhere to underwriting rules and guidelines and develop strong producer relationships via quality service. Develop client tailored casualty insurance programs consisting of guaranteed cost, large deductible and SIR programs. Business lines include General Liability, Excess Casualty, Automobile and Workers Compensation. Assist with staff development including training, mentoring. Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and Insurance certifications. A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Casualty Underwriter. Energy underwriting experience preferred. Knowledge of rating plans including experience rating, composite rating, large risk and loss rating. Financial analysis including collateral requirements. Excellent analytical, communication, and computer skills. A positive, customer-oriented approach. Current relationships with key Energy producers a plus.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Banking, Loans & InsuranceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
