Job Description Everest Re Group has an open position for a Director of Supply Management Performance and Governance that is part of our Global Administrative Services team. This team is responsible for Process Improvement, Value Creation and Supply Chain metrics. Administrative Services works across many vendors which deliver various products, services and capabilities for both internal and external use. This Role Will Focus on Four Key Areas:
Supply Management Processes and Tools - Everest Group plans to launch a new supply management process which aims to ensure cost efficiency, aligned objectives and value creation for both internal and external stakeholders in a risk-based approach. This role will look to define and continuously improve Everest's Supply Management strategy across our third party spend. This may include launching new tools/solutions to help Everest unlock incremental value. Vendor Normalization - We need to develop methods to consolidate, simplify and generate savings by looking at certain spend categories and developing global strategies. By improving processes and identifying negotiating levers, Everest will be able to simplify our footprint while improving our EBITDA and managing Third party risk. Spend Analytics and Negotiation Support - Access to the right metrics and data is critical in the Supply Management process. Whether it is tracking progress across our third party spend categories, supporting negotiations, identifying opportunities or providing insights to Leadership on business decisions, Supply Management needs to access and utilize the data to articulate and deliver value to the business. Value Creation - As Everest continues to grow our business and bring on new Clients, we need to look at opportunities to partner with Vendors/Clients in different ways to solve business issues, create innovative third party solutions and grow closer with our Business units. This role will look at opportunities to improve our spend category strategies through analytics that will deliver a better outcome in service levels, revenues or cost reductions. Key Responsibilities for this Role will Include but not Limited to:
Introduce or manage various platforms and tools to help the Supply Management team deliver on our commitment of cost efficiency, EverestOne and Value Creation (RFP and Procurement tools, Market Intelligence tools, Analytics for Spend, Vendor performance and Risk metrics). Introduce a best-in-class Supply Management process across the Business, including communication, working with Business units and ensuring Supply Management meets the needs and objectives while developing and maintaining balanced Vendor scorecards. Work across all internal stakeholders to simplify Everest's Supply Management footprint and capture savings through economies of scale and strategic Vendor relationships. Understand and develop Value Creation leverage points that will span the global Business. Work with Finance, Risk and Technology to ensure proper reporting, tracking and metrics are in place.
Qualifications:
15
years of relevant global experience in the Insurance or Financial Services sector. Strong and proven Commercial experience with a focus on Supply Management Process Improvement, Value Creation and Supply Chain metrics. Ability to influence across functions and drive results without direct ownership. Proven track record of owning and driving results. Excellent relationship management and collaboration skills across various areas of the Business. Ability to analyze contracts and optimize third party spend. Financial acumen and analytical skills. ERP experience across Source-to-Pay and Accounts Payable applications. Experience in developing Third Party Risk Management analytics.
Salary Range:
$250K -- $500K+
Minimum Qualification
Supply Chain & Logistics, Operations Management, Business Intelligence & AnalyticsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
