This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following Actively support procurement engagement within relevant CH R&D/commercial teams to enable external supplier solutions, speed, efficiency, and quality, to complement internal Consumer Health R&D capabilities. Ensures the efficient implementation of innovation priorities through development programs, supply base, and alliance partnerships. Supports implementation of market requirements within the structure of the global sourcing, contract and supplier management strategy of R&D Procurement. Partners with Procurement category managers across preclinical, product development, clinical development, regulatory, medical, laboratory products/services to ensure that market-specific priorities/suppliers are aligned and streamlined wherever possible Seeks to identify and achieve greater efficiency and consistency in our ways of working, provides greater growth and development opportunities team members, and drives improvements in team capability Partners with business partners in legal, compliance, quality, finance, etc. achieve an efficient delivery model, focused on achieving our customer and market priorities. Our new R&D Procurement CH organization is responsible for sourcing, contracting and supplier relationship management. We play a key role to enable external supplier solutions, to deliver on our key speed, efficiency and quality objectives to complement internal Consumer Health R&D capabilities. We align our activities with the market or market cluster leaders to ensure the efficient implementation of innovation, alliance partnership, sourcing and deployment of R&D category strategies. Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Science 5
years of experience in Procurement leading teams directly or in matrix 3
years of experience in procurement area of laboratory, medical regulatory, innovation, and/or alliance partnerships Experience in Consumer healthcare or FMCG companies Preferred Qualifications If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
Strong business acumen with demonstrated success in delivering a multi-year strategy ensuring competitive commercial advantage Ability to forge close business relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all management levels Understanding of contracting fundamentals and experience with contract planning, negotiation, execution, interpretation and maintenance. Experience negotiating with both external and internal stakeholders Understanding of market drivers effecting category; strong commitment to keeping abreast of trends Project and change management skills Understanding of latest tools for executing sourcing strategies Understanding of business value, business priorities, and potential implementation risks Ability to manage delivery of projects and with end-to-end service / operations management Analytical, written and verbal communication skills
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Supply Chain & Logistics, ProcurementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
