Summary:
Manages and plans the day-to-day activities and facilitation of workflow for the Customer Risk team responsible for conducting enhanced due diligence for depository and credit customers that my present a high tier of risk to the Bank. Works on a variety of BSA/AML program initiatives that require a motivated, strategic thinker to take initiative and utilize strong managerial skills to guide and coach team members. Works independently and with a team, provides constructive feedback to team members. Informs and provides presentations to senior management in a timely and professional manner. Job Duties and
Responsibilities:
Manages activities involving enhanced due diligence of potential Inherently High Risk (IHR) customers and/or existing High Risk/High Profile customers to mitigate risk exposure. Manages the periodic review of IHR and/or High Risk/High Profile customers as well as any additional relationships referred to Customer Risk team that may meet IHR/High Risk/High Profile criteria (e.g. reviews of Foreign PEPs, MSB Agents, ATM Owners, NGOs). Conducts quality control reviews as applicable and provides constructive feedback to Customer Risk team. Measures efficiencies of team member quality of analysis through a QC IHR/HR/HPC Profile and Periodic Risk Assessment Review forms as well as the completed QC reviews. Provides guidance and responds to daily inquiries from peers, front-line team members, and management regarding Know Your Customer (KYC) and Customer Identification Program (CIP) due diligence matters and case analysis, when appropriate. Assists team members with following up and retrieving information needed from business partners to conduct or complete BSA related reviews. Escalates exhausted requests to management as needed. Reviews and/or assists team members in the preparation of key points to be presented to management pertaining to customers that pose a higher risk to the Bank and/or are to be considered for closure. Maintains various logs including those related to Foreign PEPs, MSB Agents, NGOs, and ATM Owners/Lessors. Assists management with documentation and responses to questions posed by internal auditors and federal examiners and interacts with auditors/examiners as needed. Generates and completes management reports as assigned. Works with management to implement new initiatives and to improve current processes. Assists with special projects as requested. Attends BSA/AML training seminars as assigned. Maintains awareness of regulatory and legislative developments and industry trends. Operates in full compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as applicable regulations and laws, including Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering requirements. Ensures compliance with the Code of Ethics and all Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information security and suspicious activity reporting requirements, policies and procedures. Actively participates in any required corporate and business line training in these areas. Adheres to confidentiality policy, code of ethics and follows all policies and procedures relative to Consumer Compliance laws and regulations and best practice recommendations. Monitors team member time and attendance and completes staffing and scheduling coordination to ensure proper coverage and prioritization of workflow. Ensures established standards, goals and service levels are continuously met. Monitors workflow queue, quality review and answers team member questions. Works to ensure training is provided to new and current team members. Conducts meetings with team members to continuously communicate key information regarding changes to policies and procedures. Guides and coaches team and responds to questions regarding policies and procedures. Assists with the orientation and training of new team members as directed. Provides leadership, direction and growth opportunities to members of the department, performing those responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies and applicable laws. Interviews, hires plans, assigns and directs work. Appraises team member performance and works closely with senior management and Human Resources to resolve more complex team member-related issues. Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion. Performs other related duties as required. Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum
Experience:
Seven years of job-related experience with emphasis on BSA Compliance and enhanced due diligence in accordance with KYC, CIP, AML/BSA guidelines. Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Strong knowledge of Know Your Customer practices in the financial services industry Knowledge of regulations and regulatory bodies applicable to AML and CFT Knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering regulations Excellent judgment and ability to handle issue resolution in a professional and consistent matter Ability to confidently facilitate team discussions and communicate business messages Strong listening skills and a positive communicator Strong customer service and telephone etiquette skills Sill writing reports and business correspondence Proficiency using applicable programs, systems, and databases Proficiency using Microsoft Office software products. Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) designation. #LI-CW1 #LI-Remote
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Risk & Quantitative AnalysisEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
