Senior software developer to provide technology development solutions to Derivatives Clearing. Assist in production support activities and provide SME support for all projects.Job Description ?Senior Java/J2ee developer will be part of Derivatives Clearing team which manage a technology platform that supports the post trade settlement processing of cleared derivative trades. Key
Responsibilities: ?Design and develop components of Derivatives Clearing System for cleared derivatives products like IRS, CDS, Forwards etc. ?Mentor offshore junior developers and contractors to provide solutions to the business issues and development requests ?Posses high degree of technical competency to design and develop distributed applications using cutting-edge tools and technologies. ?Code, test, debug, implement and document complex programs. ?Find ways to improve the design of the existing programs and optimize performance ?Design and Implement end-to-end solutions for derivatives trade capture, trade processing, enhancements, bug-fixes and maintenance ?Provide operational support for the Derivatives Clearing System ?Develop Derivatives Clearing Service strategies to support Finance, Credit Risk, General Leger, Reconciliation and Regulatory reporting processes. Job Skills/Qualifications (5000 characters or less):
Qualifications: ? 10 plus years of experience in developing applications in Java/J2ee platform in financial industry. ?Experience in working multiple projects with and across different releases at the same time. ?Expertise skills in Java (Core, Multi-threading, Caching), Spring-Framework, Autosys, Sybase Database, J2EE, XML, TIBCO-EMS/RV, MQ, Java-JMS/Weblogic, CVS, Maven, RPM packaging, Unix, Design Patterns, and Software engineering methodologies. ?Knowledge of post trade clearing mechanism, margin, trade positions, cash payments of derivatives products, and exchange connectivity. Education Level: Bachelor?s or Master degree in computer science or related field.


Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
