Responsible for the companys growth through sales engineering and new business development efforts. Act as designated sales manager covering an assigned market or geography, such as a group of states, representing the Banking and Financial Services business vertical within Mindtree. Assigned a revenue target for the year to obtain new business for the company. Revenue target achieved by selling Mindtrees information technology solutions and services which include: software development and maintenance, testing services, infrastructure management and support, data warehousing, business intelligence, mobility and digital solutions and enterprise resource planning (SAP and Oracle). Develop proposals around technology skills, timelines, commercials and legal terms for client organizations in the form of contracts to sell Mindtrees services Lead point of contact for executives in client organizations. Hold business discussions, demonstrates technology solutions, and engages key decision makers to sign up contracts with the company. Utilize global service delivery model and develops solutions on new and emerging technologies. Builds a sales pipeline and generates management information reports on a quarterly basis. Travel 40-45% to maintain client relationships and solicit new business.
Experience must include the following: demonstrated success in building pipeline of business to attain yearly targets; business development; working on sales targets; connecting with executive level leaders in client organizations; increasing revenue through generation of leads; demonstrated ability working with teams.
Masters degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Marketing, or Systems, plus two (2) years of described experience. Will also accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of described experience. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
