Job Description:
Primary responsibility of the candidate will be to function as a senior programmer for Global Database Repository. Candidate should have solid knowledge and experience with developing enterprise applications using Java, J2EE and Spring technologies. Candidate should have strong SQL skills and should be familiar with data warehouse concepts.
The candidate will be required to:
o Develop code for technical frameworks and application.
o Develop a thorough understanding of business specifications and produce design and code artifacts that meet the specifications.
o Manage the developed code through the various test cycles and eventual production implementation.
o Participate in code reviews.
o Work with global teams on development tasks.
o Self-motivated and proactive in daily development activities.
Qualifications
o 8
year's industry experience.
o 8
year's hands-on experience in Java, J2EE and Spring.
o 4
years' experience developing technical frameworks using Java, J2EE and Spring.
o 5
years' experience with database programming using SQL.
o Experience with relational databases such as DB2 or Oracle.
o Very good Unix and Shell scripts skills. Experience with Autosys will be a plus.
o Any data warehouse, data modeling or dimensional design skills will be a plus.
o Experience with Volante will be a plus.
o Experience with SVN, ANT, Jenkins.
o Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
o Good expertise in technical analysis/debugging problems/troubleshooting issues
o Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, analytical ability and the ability to work effectively with systems technical staff and business users.
o Ability to work successfully under pressure in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment.
o Financial industry experience is plus, preferably with Cards or Payments.
o Bachelor's degree (in Computers, Information Technology or Engineering) Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
