As part of a new initiative we are creating an analytics and reporting platform on top of a central Data Warehouse. The platform aims to integrate data from over hundreds of operational systems from across the globe, enrich them with golden master data and produce actionable metrics.
The solution is delivered via a HTML5/Web2.0 portal/Analytics platform built using cutting edge technologies to help reduce overall risk exposure to the Firm, increase balance sheet capacity and ultimately increase net income. It also opens up opportunities to improve productivity and increase overall operational efficiency.
Key Requirements
o 8
Years of financial industry background is mandatory
o Extensive Experience in designing and developing financial dashboards, portals and large scale intranet applications
o Experience interacting with business users and collecting the reporting requirements
o Strong background in architecting and delivering projects using:
o Java/J2EE (Servlets, JSP, JSTL, JDBC, JMS)
o Web framework particularly Spring
o Proven knowledge of implementing Web Application using HTML5, Object-Oriented Javascript (EXTJS, AngularJS, Bootstrap, JQuery etc.).
o Good knowledge in AJAX, JSON and Web 2.0 technologies.
o Knowledgeable in HttpServices, Remoting and Webservices
o Experience in Ant/Maven, Log4J, JUnit, Weblogic Application Server and Eclipse.
o Experience in ORM like Hibernate and caching solution like Coherence, Ehcache, Grid Gain etc.
o Knowledge of MongoDB will be an added plus
o Hands on knowledge of SQL and databases (Oracle)
o Experience in working Linux/UNIX environment.
o Worked in Team Lead/Tech Lead or similar role for at least last 4 years
Major Pluses
o Strong background in designing Financial Dashboards and Financial Industry.
o Experience in Hadoop, Mongo DB, In-Memory Analytics

Project Management Skills:
o Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
o Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
o Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
o Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
o Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
o Track project milestones and deliverables.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
