Primary responsibility of the candidate will be to perform data analysis and database design for a large commercial cards application. Expert Knowledge of IBM DB2 database management system is a requirement; and additional Oracle experience would be a preference but not a must have.
The candidate will work closely with business analysts and systems analysts to translate business requirements to an optimized data model design, that meets both functional and non-functional needs (e.g. performance, scalability) of the application. This position may also require the candidate to perform data analysis to validate business rules.
The Leading candidate will be required to
o Drive design of data structures within an ODS/EDW environment (all layers).
o Understand and evaluate source system data as part of the ODS/EDW design.
o Create Conceptual/Logical/Physical models for EDW staging, data integration, and reporting.
o Conduct Model reviews with project team members.
o Publish and communicate models to various IT and business-based teams, explaining how the model meets Use Cases.
o Drive metadata capture through data modeling application (Erwin) and maintain the repository and exchange of metadata through the various tools.
o Promote and follow Enterprise Architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices around EDW data modeling efforts.
o Develop data movement requirements/technical specifications into and across EDW layers.
o Collaborate with Solution Architects and Development teams to create data structures that facilitate data integration and meet/exceed reporting and analytical requirements.
Qualifications
o 7
years experience in development and data modeling in a volume intensive data warehouse environment, preferably in the financial industry.
o 5
years experience working with DB2.
o Extensive experience in data modeling, including relational design and data abstractions within financial services.
o Experience in working with Oracle is preferred, but not a must have.
o Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, analytical ability and the ability to work effectively with systems technical staff and business users.
o Ability to develop, interpret and articulate data models and process models using relevant tools(e.g. ERWIN).Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
