Position requires advanced API specialist skills
At least 8 years in software development and at least 2 year hands-on experience in development, administration or implementation of an APIm/SOA solution (preferable IBM APIm/Datapower product knowledge)
o Proficient in Java and API /SOA technologies , Web Services and ESB design patterns, oAuth, SAML 1.1 & 2.0, WS-Trust, STS, SOAP, WSDLs, XML, REST ,WS- standards, Service Governance.
o Familiar with general security concepts (authentication, authorization, encryption, digital signatures, etc), PKI concepts, SSL, Web Service Proxies, XML firewalls, multi-protocol gateways.
o Experience with Agile development methodology and knowledge of general networking concepts
oBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field preferred.
Responsibilities:
o Responsible for API Management platform readiness for projects that will be rolled out to production in Q2/Q3 2015
o Responsible for an end-to-end integration of service patterns on APIm platform.
o APIm Portal setup: Installation, network and monitoring setup, firmware upgrade, domains creation/setup, secure backup-recovery, user/groups creation and access control etc.
o API Gateway Development: Design and develop service patterns, policy and rules based on business requirements. Security implementation, SLM/A setup and message monitoring.
o API implementation: Involve in complete integration life cycle of the API initiatives
o Leads API strategic initiatives and support multiple projects for NA/ASPAC deployment
o From platform/infra perspective, responsible for complete IBM APIm and DataPower XI52 infrastructure setup
o Responsible for development, implementation and configuration management of security policies for APIm use cases.
o Perform architecture, design and review of development policies for adherence to standards and best practices.
o Support full lifecycle implementation of the APIm project including Dev, SIT, UAT , Stress testing and production deployment
o Manage day-to-day system development and maintenance activities for APIm deployment in global regions.
o Act as the Subject Matter Expert of Shared Services in liaison with other technology groupsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
