Perform software development for project activities, including reviewing tickets, shift reports, client interaction, and delivery to ensure quality and act as a point of contact for clients. Design and implement infrastructure roll out plan for end-to-end environments. Apply web services and messaging concepts to client engagements. Drive advanced and new technical activities, including multi-team and vendor coordination. Ensure all processes are followed and develop new and modify existing processes. Identify system deficiencies and implement effective solutions. Create and execute project plans and revise as appropriate to meet needs and requirements. Provide project status updates to stakeholders. Identify issues and risks, and implement changes to ensure successful project delivery. Identify opportunities for improvement and provide constructive feedback for change. Warren, NJ and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Travel and work at client sites as assigned.
Two (2) years of information technology experience. Experience must include the following: project/delivery management experience in the travel industry; middleware technologies including Weblogic, Tibco EMS, IBM MQ, and CORBA; Tomcat; JBoss; Apache Webserver; installing, managing and troubleshooting Middleware components, software, and network systems and programs; troubleshooting and performance tuning; implementing and configuring monitoring tools, including MWatch, IR360, LifeKeeper, Open View; F5 and Remedy; project and technology management; SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle); ITIL process implementation; client server computing; fundamentals of software development; computer networks and network administration; process definitions; system analysis and troubleshooting; computer security; and website development programs. Travel and work at client sites as assigned.
A Masters degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Will accept a Bachelors degree plus 5 years of described experience. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. Travel and work at client sites as assigned.
