Business Objective: Economic sanctions are designed to prevent targeted nations, organizations, and/or individuals from accessing the benefits of the issuing countries resources (e.g. capital/financial markets, technology, goods or services). Economic Sanctions Program will increase compliance and risk mitigation with the enhancement of economic sanction screening capability into its Policy Administrative systems. Specifically, WIP and EPREM will be targeted in 2015 to incorporate and implement screening capabilities based on multiple business event (transaction) trigger points for a policy. US Sanctions WIP and EPREM should enable and support the following business goals:
1. Effectively activate the screening of individuals, organizations, vessels, and locations in order to adhere to economic sanction laws.
2. Ability to lock business event (transaction) when a match is encountered until all matches associated with a business event (transaction) are cleared.
3. Automatically unlock business event (transaction) when a Clearance Notification message is received.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Serve as liaison between Business and IT; translating business needs into functional business requirements. Collaborate with business partner to define project scope and business requirements for small to medium business requests.
Manage business requirements throughout the SDLC. Collaborate with Project Manager to manage scope and business partner expectations.
Plan business analysis activities. Develop estimates for business analysis tasks. Accountable for managing to estimates.
Analyze business objective/need and document business requirements while using industry standard analysis techniques such as data flow modeling, workflow analysis, functional decomposition analysis and business rule definition.
Elicit requirements using techniques such as interviews, workshops, JAD sessions, and/or existing systems documentation or procedures.
Understand and apply Corporate IT standards, designs and documentation standards into recommended project artifacts.
Collaborate with business and technical resources and participate in working sessions to provide input to the solution design; ensure business needs are appropriately addressed through the recommended solution.
Collaborate with the Quality Systems Support (QSS) team to ensure that the designed solutions satisfy the business requirements.
Work with business partners to help define acceptance criteria and coordinate user acceptance testing to ensure that the solution meets the business requirements.
Initiate, conduct and facilitate discussions with multiple stakeholders, and translate the results and issues at hand to the business and IT teams.
Provide regular updates and communicate business concerns or feedback to the Project Manager/Team as appropriate.
Identify and communicate risks to delivering solutions on time and on budget to the Project Manager; provide support as appropriate to resolve issues.
Participate with Business and Project Team in planning and executing training programs and/or demonstrations related to the launch of new solutions.
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree (preferred) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

years of relevant IT industry work experience including system analysis, SDLC management, and infrastructure planning and/or operations
4
years of experience in the insurance industry strongly preferred.
Knowledgeable of IBM Jazz Rational Requirements Composer and Rational Team Concert (v 4.0.4) helpful
Completion of IIBA CBAP or other certification program helpful.
Knowledge of OFAC or OSFI Regulatory Compliance Helpful
Knowledge of Compliance Link - Accuity Helpful
Must be detail-oriented and thorough with the ability to meet aggressive deadlines.
Must be flexible and effective at multi-tasking.
Establishes a positive relationship with IT staff and business partners.
Must possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Effective in a variety of formal/informal presentation settings: one-on-one, small and large groups.
Must be pro-active with issue identification and resolution.
Must be experienced with the entire systems development life cycle.
Strong understanding of IT environments, technologies in relation to the business needs.
Proven practical experience with analysis and/or support to IT business processes.
Strong ability to perform analysis of small to medium complex business, workflow, and technology issues to support decision-making.
Must have the ability to work effectively with business partners, IT management, and team members.
Proven leadership experience in managing client relationships (internal and external).
Strong interpersonal, relationship and management skills.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
